Is there a way to invite contacts to a proof via a workflow instead of using the "Invite" button?

I'm looking to create an approval workflow where the proof moves sequentially from one team to the next, instead of having everyone review it at the same time. I was hoping to use Smartsheet’s standard approval workflow, but when I do, the email notification it sends differs from the one reviewers get when they're added through the 'Invite' button. However, using the 'Invite' button sends the proof to everyone at once, which I want to avoid. Do you have any suggestions on how to manage this?

What are the parts of the "invite" notification that you want vs the approval notification?

Hi! I like how, when you 'invite' someone to the proof, the 'Approve' and 'Require Changes' buttons appear, and their responses automatically populate the 'Pending Approval From,' 'Changes Required From,' and 'Approved By' columns. However, if the invite button isn't used, someone has to manually invite the next team or mark themselves as 'Approved' or 'Changes Required' in a separate column to then trigger the next team to review. Hopefully that makes sense. Thanks for the help!! :)
