How do I write a formula for two possibilities

I have written a =COUNTIFS formula for two possibilites, can I amend to incorporate a third possibility from a column that was used previously?

I believe the countifs can have more than two criteria, I am pretty sure I have used more than 2 criteria for sumifs in the past. Give it a try and see, if you have issues post your formula and maybe we can help.
