SmartSheet hours Inaccurately transferring to Resource Management

When allocating hours to individual team members in SmartSheet the total number of hours transferred to Resource Management does not equal the total. I.e. When I assign 60.8 hours to an individual from 11/04/2024 through 11/29/2024 in SmartSheet, the total shown for the same Task in Resource Management is 54.7 hours over the same time. This throws off the utilization of the team member with fewer hours being shown. What is the reason for the hours not accurately being conveyed in RM?

The hours mismatch between Smartsheet and Resource Management likely comes from differences in work hours, holidays, or allocation settings. RM might factor in non-working days or use a different work-hour setup than Smartsheet. Try checking those settings in both tools to get the hours to line up better.
