@Paul Newcome Hi Paul! How would I go about creating a formula to automatically create steps (1, 1.1, 1.2, 2, 2.1, etc.) for each task (including indentations). I would like the numbers to align even if I have to move rows up or down. See screenshots below:

I recommend taking a look at the Community thread below - you should be able to do this by creating a Suffix column and using a RANKEQ and COLLECT formula in that column, then referencing that column in your WBS column formula:
