can i change a cell after a created date is past a certain amount of days?
I have a sheet for purchasing requests. Often time, after a purchase is received, the purchaser will forget to change the status dropdown from ordered to received. Is there a way to use automation to change status from ordered to received when 90 days have passed from the created date?

Hi there—
You could create an automated workflow to change a cell 90 days after a date is reached. This would be an automation trigged when a date is reached, based on a date in your sheet, and the action would be to "Change a cell value."
Another option you could consider: send an update request to the purchaser at some number of days after the request, if the status is still showing as "ordered." Ask them to confirm they've received it by changing the status. :)
Hope that helps!

Thanks!
Does this look right? the trigger always confuses me… im hoping it will trigger every time the date only column has an entry past 90 days.

Your trigger looks correct to me! I don't think you need the condition block at all — but if you want to keep it, I'd suggest changing it to 89 days (since your trigger will go at 90) :>
And, you can always add a test row to your sheet and run your automation on just that one row! (In the Manage Automation Workflows, you'd click the three dots on the right side of each automation, and can choose Run or Test, send it to yourself, and select specific rows to run it on. Those actions will ignore a trigger, but respect any condition blocks you've set up.)
Happy Friday!
