We would like to leverage Smartsheet for an end-to-end supply chain inventory management solution to streamline processes from bidding to fulfilling internal requests for inventory items. T
• Bidding Process
• Awarding the Bid
• Assignment of Purchase Orders (PO)
• Receiving Goods into Inventory
• Internal Inventory Requests
We are currently facing challenges in configuring Smartsheets to effectively view and look up items on the inventory master sheet and place orders for single or multiple items. Given that our parts inventory exceeds 1,000 items and changes frequently, creating a dropdown menu has proven ineffective.
Do you have any suggestions on how we can address this issue?

To manage your supply chain inventory I would try using Reports or Forms for dynamic item lookups instead of dropdown menus, allowing users to search and request items directly from the inventory master sheet. Automate inventory updates with Data Shuttle for real-time accuracy and create a multi-sheet setup for bidding, POs, inventory tracking, and internal requests.
