Does locking a column stop the formula calculating?

@Genevieve P. if you lock the column that has a formula, will the formula still be active? Example: i have a column calculating two columns. I want the formula column to be locked by a certain date. If I manually lock it at that certain date, will the formula column still calculate and update if the other column data be changed?
OR
will it only reactivate the formula once I unlock the formula column?

Locking a column only stops users from editing it. Formulas will still be active. There are a couple of different ways that you can "lock in" the results of a formula. Some are more complicated than others. If you are able to provide more details as to what exactly you are wanting to lock in and the current formula, we may be able to help you get something in place.
