How to recover data that is lost when moving from one sheet to another?

It says there is no history b/c it was moved from another page.
-
Ok. So that sounds to me like it was removed from the cell BEFORE the row was moved. Have you checked the Activity Log of the source sheet to see if there is any data being deleted?
-
Once they are moved over, they are no longer on the source sheet.
-
I understand that, but the activity log will still have a history of it on the source sheet.
-
How do I know what row it was?
-
Do you have a unique identifier on every row? You can use cell history in the destination sheet to see when it was moved and then look through the activity log on the source sheet for the same date / time and look for when the data was deleted before that date / time.

How will I know that it's the same one? Example one I just did was moved to the destination sheet on 11/18. Activity log on the source sheet has a lot of actions that happened that date.

Do you have a unique identifier on each row? Or a handful of columns that will have data to help you identify a specific row?
Are there any entries indicating that data was deleted?
-
I apologize I am not familiar with all the correct terminology. for the unique identifier, if you mean a column with unique info from the other columns in a row, yes.
I didn't go through all the changes on that date. There are several in that list.
