Index/Match - Children
How do you use the index/match formula for a child based on the name of the parent.
In the screen shot below. The yellow highlighted area would have the formula looking up who child row is assigned to based on the job # (circled in red).

Do you have a reference sheet that would be looking up the user to be inserted into the Assigned To column? If so, how is that setup?

The reference sheet will have the job # column and assigned to column along with other information columns

If I understand correctly, you'd need to use the INDEX COLLECT combination instead. Looking for the parent and the row.
