New Feature: A redesigned access requests experience is now available for Smartsheet users
Hi Community,
We’re excited to announce that Smartsheet’s improved asset access request experience is now live! This update helps collaborators and admins alike save time and reduce frustration by making it easier to request and allocate access to assets
- For Collaborators:
Submit access requests with context—saving time and reducing frustration. - For Admins:
Quickly manage and approve access with a simplified view of pending requests. Plan Asset Admins and SysAdmins can now grant themselves access or fulfill requests when the sheet owner is unavailable, ensuring critical tasks stay on track.
This capability is available to all Smartsheet customers across all plans. To learn more check out our help article.

Is there a way to turn off access requests emails going to all Admins of a workspace? Just because we give full access to a space doesn't mean that we want or need the users of that space inundated with emails.

@elektra_h - raising the same question as @CRK. we have tons of people complaining from our organization that they are now being spammed with access request emails that they previously were not receiving. We have user groups designated as admins so they can edit sheet stucture, but we do not need them constantly being notified. Updating personal notification settings also does not fix the problem because they will still want to recieve @ mentions and proof requests. How can we update notification levels by usergroup?
