Setting up Data & Configuring Gradient Bar Chart
Hello! I am trying to show a gradient bar chart in a dashboard.
I have a sheet where I've pulled a report that has data for US States. Each state has a count for Yes, No and Blank. I want to represent a bar chart in a dashboard for this data that shows the Yes, No and Blank count information as a gradient. Below shows the report.
When I put the bar chart in my dashboard it only shows the total count by state - shown below.
How do I need to either configure the chart (and reference my data) to achieve a gradient bar chart as shown below. The above shows only the total amounts and not differentiated Yes, No, Blank. You see these in every dashboard reference but I can't find great information on how to set one up.

Reports can only populate a chart at the top level of grouping and thus cannot generate stacked bar charts the way you need. You would have to use a separate sheet with formulas containing cross sheet references to generate your counts (states going down the rows in one column then separate columns for yes, no, and blank counts).
