Retrieving access to items which owner's license has been removed

@Genevieve P. if you remove a license, and no one else has access to the items, and the previous owner is deactivated. How can I retrieve access to the item, or is it lost forever in limbo? Lets say I didn't transfer the assets

Those sheets / assets are still owned by the plan, so your plan asset admin should be able to gain access (even though there's no Admin shared on the sheet).

If someone requests access to the sheet, the plan asset admin can approve the request and assign an admin as part of the approval flow. You can use the Sheet Access Report to find the sheets! 🙂

If this hasn't helped, I would recommend reaching out to Smartsheet Support with the email address of the deactivated user, identifying who should now have Admin access.
