Brandfolder Duplicate Detection Updates
Brandfolder is improving our duplicate detection user experience by providing clear notifications before duplicative files are deleted. If you have the Brandfolder setting "Don't allow duplicate files" enabled and you try to upload a file that's an exact copy of an existing file in your library, the system will automatically detect and block it. The duplicate file will appear with a special "File not processable" thumbnail. Clicking on the file will display a message explaining that it's a duplicate and will be automatically deleted after 10 minutes, with a link to the original file. This change aims to enhance transparency, reduce customer frustration, and minimize the number of support tickets related to duplicate files.
