What activity counts towards the "Modified by" field?

Hi @sn7590!

The "Modified By" column shows the time each row was last edited and the collaborator who made the change.

I also tested this and found that it worked as expected, users with Viewer access shouldn’t be able to make edits to sheets. To gain more insight, I recommend double-checking your sheet's Activity Log. It provides details about changes made and who accessed the sheet.

Additionally, it might be possible that your sheet contains a formula using the TODAY function. This function updates automatically when the sheet is accessed, which could explain why the "Modified By" column shows updates even when no manual edits were made.
