Linking stock sheets to get balance

I have google forms to collect stock data. One is for entering stock. The other is for issuing stock. I have to calculate the balance manually. But I know there is a solution for this. I just don't know how to do it.
I have attached a screenshot of item entered and items taken. How do I auto deduct items taken from the items entered.
Your assistance will be highly appreciated

Hi @Aishath
I changed the "Quantity" column in your first sheet to "Starting Quantity" and added the "Taken" and "Current Quantity" columns.
The [Taken] item quantities can be calculated with the following formula;
[Taken] =SUMIFS({Items Taken : Quantity}, {Items Taken : Item}, [Item entered]@row)
You can test how this solution works by requesting items using the Request Form in the image below.

Hi @Aishath ,
Are you using the Smartsheet sync add-on for Google forms? If your forms are synced to your Smartsheet sheets, and you make changes to the Google form, the changes will be synced with the sheet, and so the cross-sheet formula(s) you use in your sheets will continue to be calculated as they’re looking at the referenced source sheet.
However, if you’re using only Google, you can reach out to the Google Community for help.
Thanks,
Georgie
