I want to show from the below columns in a sheet a % of live/pending Airlines in a pie chart?

like the below screen shot? The reason it was possible before was the sheet was structured differently for an easy Metric sheet, now they want to change sheet structure, is it possible to use two columns from a sheet in a metric?

From what it sounds like you are asking, you don't have anything that calculates "40% of the AFKL lines are Live". You'll need something to DO that calculation first, and then build your chart off that. As I see it, you can go a few routes:

—Use the Pivot app (if you have it) to get a count by status by airline, so that you can build calculations on that output, to either summarize all airlines together or keep separate.
—Create a KPI sheet manually (that basically does the summarization you'll need, using formulas).

    Good luck!

  • Hi, thanks for the advice, I do not have the app for pivot, do you mean create a new sheet that will be feed from the original data input, as this is expected to have ongoing updates? I have already created reports, that was ok but on the dashboard I wanted to just show it in a pie chart.
