Auto fill cell with data from another sheet

Good Morning,

I have sheets that have formulas that run off of dates entered.

Currently I have the dates on those sheets using the "link from cell in other sheet", but it doesn't autopopulate the cells when the data is entered on the original sheet.

I tried looking at automations but none of them appear to provide me with an option to only copy the data in a specific cell. it only gives the option to copy the entire row.

Cell links should be updating live (or at least, very quickly). If your cell links aren't updating properly, contact Smartsheet support, or if it is not too much of a hassle, try creating a new sheet to link the data into - sometimes I've found the turn-it-off-then-on-again solution works for weird things in Smartsheet too.

Thanks, I have found that I have to "reset" the connection each time I add new data to the specific column on my master sheet.
