How to create a Smartsheet to replace a complex Excel spreadsheet? (Weekly Tracking)

We have a temp labor spreadsheet that managers use to submit their temp request for each day per month (this spreadsheet has every day of the month on it). See below.

These numbers are then calculated, on a separate spreadsheet to get a weekly total for each request. See below.

We want to create a smartsheet to minimize the number of spreadsheets needed in order to get the necessary information.

I was thinking of creating a sheet that feeds into a report, but I'm having difficulty creating the necessary parameters to receive the information fluidly.

Any suggestions?
