Data Shuttle Issues

I get an CSV weekly with all the new hires at my company. After the new hire's start date is in the past, they drop off the list. I want to have a Data Shuttle that takes this CSV daily and updates + adds rows for every new hire. There is also about 20 columns that need to be filled out on this Smartsheet.

I have tried doing this and the only way it has been working is if I have the employee IDs in the sheet, but the problem is I won't know the employee IDs.

How can I do this?

    Hi -

What unique identifier are you using? I can normally leverage the employee's email address for this.

@Koleen Steiner I am using the employee ID. But even if it was the employee email, how would I know it? This data is all flowing from before the new hires start date so I just need a row added to the sheet daily based on the CSV from our HR system

Hmm. I'm in IT, so assumed you would be receiving the email address too. Maybe combine via formula their FirstNameLastNameStartDate or some combination to make the unique ID.
