Automation and Latest Comments?

Hi All

Is there anyway to set an automation to add a new latest comment when a cell changes? In my case, I would like a latest comment to be recorded whenever the Status comlumn is set to complete.

Currently, I have tried the following automation, which doesn't seem to work:

Trigger:When rows are added or changed AND when 'Status' changes to 'Completed'
Actions:Change a cell

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately, I don't believe there's any automated way to move a value from a cell to the comments (conversations) section.

The automation you have setup will record the word "Complete" into your "Latest Comment" column. I take it that's not quite what you're wanting to do.

Where does the comment come from that you want recorded into that "Latest Comment" field?

The issue seems to be the the "complete" is not considered a comment, and therefore doesnt show up in the Conversation tab. is there anyway around this?
