setup form to retain last entries

all:
is there a way to setup forms such that after submittal the last entries are retained (instead of deleting/erased) ? I have to collect multiple findings on 1 piece of equipment (~10-15), which requires multiple repeat entries for common info.
This was submitted as a suggestion a while ago, with measured Zero response from Smartsheet team. That is somewhat annoying - this does not appear to be a very complicated fix - maybe the smartsheet product team should focus a little more on user feedback instead of the "Gartner Magic Quadrant". Or maybe that's what keeps them in the "Gartner Magic Quadrant"

Smartsheet doesn't retain form entries, but browser autofill or the mobile app's draft-saving feature may help.

this is not a bad idea actually. but i have been fiddling with the settings, and it does not work (browser security controlled by IT etc). nice try though.
This needs to be fixed in Smartsheet -
If each piece of equipment has a unique identity why don't you use Data Mesh to fill in the missing/repeat data for the other entries from the first one?

Another thing to think about is using Google Forms as a front end instead of Smartsheet forms. Lots more capability, the data can go directly into the smartsheet and you can autofill fields.

Hello Marc: do you have any example about how to setup google forms ? If it works , that would be agreat work around. It still annoys me to no avail that this cannot be done natively in smartsheet app itself
