Hi @Taylor Coakley
Did you try to attach a new xlsx file to the source sheet's attachment?

Hi @Taylor Coakley!
Thanks for sharing the screenshots! After checking your setup and testing, I found the following:
I can see that this is an upload workflow, and you’ve selected "Run on attachment" as the trigger. If you uploaded the attachment to your source sheet before setting up the workflow, it won’t run automatically after setup. To trigger it, you’ll need to reupload the attachment to your source sheet (the same one you used initially), and it should run after that. Alternatively, you can run it manually from the Workflows Dashboard in Data Shuttle.
You can find more details on upload workflows here: Create an upload workflow in Data Shuttle.
I hope this helps!

Thank you both for your responses. I actually figured out what was wrong with this workflow. I did have it set up correctly, i just needed to make sure it was looking for the right attachment. So, I kept it as run on attachment and have it looking for the name of the document.

Ok, so this data shuttle still is not working. It says that there isn't anything wrong with the data shuttle but it is not updating on attachment. I'm really not sure what I am doing wrong. I do have a question. If a row was manually entered, instead of populated through this data shuttle, Will the data shuttle not replace/update the content in that row?

Hi @Taylor Coakley!
The rows should be updated even if they were manually entered. The key factor to consider is the unique identifier, there needs to be a match for the update to occur.
Regarding your workflow not running on attachment, I tested it but couldn’t reproduce the issue. My recommendation at this point is to recreate the workflow and see if the issue persists. If it does, it’s best to reach out to Smartsheet Support for further assistance through a private channel.
When reaching out, make sure to include as many details as possible:
- A copy of the source file you’re using (blur any sensitive information) or a similar file with mock data.
- The Sheet ID or Sheet URL (you can find the Sheet ID in the sheet properties).
- Screenshots of your Data Shuttle configuration.
- A screenshot of the Last Run log.
I hope this helps!
Cheers,
