Approach to show open tasks for a closed program?
I make the call when I can close a program when I feel my value/work/engagement is no longer needed and/or when the tasks have transitioned into "business as usual". Thus, some of the open tasks are future dated.
For example, I closed my program on 1/31, but there are open tasks by owner that future dated in Feb-July. How have you "closed down"/archived a Smartsheet project plan but still show tasks that are still "open/active"?
Aka- I know I can archive the Smartsheet project plan so it becomes inaccessible to the stakeholder since the program is "closed", but I hate showing that the tasks are still not complete/not 100%. Even though I've already met with each stakeholder and they know there are x# of open tasks assigned to them, I don't think it's good to show the task is complete when it isn't.
I think this is a partially your own approach to PMing a program before sunsetting, but also partially how to show it on Smartsheet that I've closed the program with open tasks?

Do you have a "status" column or "Done" checkbox column? I use those to tell me what % of tasks have been completed versus what is outstanding. I also have an overall status column that lets me know whether the program is still active or complete/finished. Then at the global level I am able to track how often I close something with open tasks, % left open, etc.
