Backup SmartSheet Sheets using PowerAutomate?

How do you backup sheets on a recurring basis using PowerAutomate?

Hi @Ashley Kallberg!
After researching the documentation available, I found that there is an existing Connector between Smartsheet and Power Automate. However, since the connector was developed on the Microsoft side, it is supported by them. You can find more information on it here:Β Microsoft Power Automate.
On the other hand you canΒ schedule weekly recurring backupsΒ for sheet data in workspaces where you hold Admin or Owner permissions. Smartsheet generates weekly backups automatically between Saturday and Monday. Follow these steps to set up recurring backups:
- On the leftΒ Navigation Bar, selectΒ Open workspace panel.
- Navigate to the workspace containing the item(s) you want to back up and select theΒ kebabΒ menu at the top right corner of the workspace panel.
- SelectΒ Schedule Recurring Backup. TheΒ Schedule Recurring BackupΒ option wonβt display if a workspace doesn't contain any sheets.Β
- Follow the instructions on your screen and select the checkboxes to enable recurring backups, include attachments, and receive an email notification about the backup.
I hope this helps!

I'm not seeing kebab menu?

Hey @Ashley Kallberg, you can right-click the name of the workspace, and you should see the option to request a backup from there.
It is important to note that any user on the plan can request a singular sheet or workspace backup, but to set up recurring backups for workspaces, you must have Admin or Owner permissions.
