Trying to sort Tasks in a report by numerical indentation levels
I am trying to sort tasks so that they are in order like the way i have typed out instead of the way its actually sorting as seen in the screenshot below. Any guesses on how to do this?
2.1
2.1.1
2.1.2
2.2
2.3
2.3.1
2.3.1.1
etc.

You will need to make sure each piece has the same number of digits such as "01" instead of "1".

Hi @VL0001 the first thing comes to the top of my head is to insert a column in your base sheet for these versions as you want them and then pulling this column in your report along with other relevant details of your file and then sort the report by this version column.
Hope this helps:)

yep, it needs to have the exact same number of digits.
So if there is a 1.01.02.03 the very first task needs to be 1.00.00.00
That is sort of annoying.
