Is there a way to lock the order of categories on the calendar app

I have created several calendars using the calendar app. The events are sorted by category. These categories occasionally change and new ones are added. The list is also in a custom sort. Is there any way to lock the order of the categories so that when I refresh the values they do not need to be reordered every time?

Hi @J. Earp!

After testing, I found that you can customize the order of the Category List from the settings. Within the settings, you can drag and drop the categories to arrange them in your preferred order. See the screenshot below:

However, it's important to note that depending on the view you select (By Day, By Week, By Quarter), the order may adjust based on relevance at that moment—but it will still maintain the order you originally set. See the screenshots below for reference.
