How to avoid overriding target sheet data when i re-shuttle or change data source?

Hi! I'm having some issues using smartsheet/data shuttle for the first time and am wondering if there are solutions to these issues I don't know about or if these issues are not within the program's capabilities.

To explain: I'm putting together a sheet that identifies missing/incorrect information from internal project workbooks. I have a data source google sheet ('Database Version 1.0') containing project names and material quantities that have been collected from various project workbooks. in the target sheet, I have written formulas similar to Excel that identify which project data fields are missing/incorrect according to a certain criteria. The "Assigned To" column is manually input by me in the smartsheet and contains the name of the engineer that is responsible for fixing the data in their respective workbook. at the end of the week, i must rerun the data shuttle from the 'Database Version 2.0' google sheet which contains the updated workbook information. (we do not want to keep updating the same google sheet in order to keep a log of changes). if the engineer has corrected the data, the smartsheet formulas will then designate the project as complete according to the criteria/formulas and the engineer will not be notified again.

The issues I'm facing are:
- can I change the data source sheet ('Database Version 1.0', 2.0, 3.0 etc.) without losing the formatting within the data shuttle workflow/target sheet? the source sheets have the exact same column headers, tabs, etc. and just have different number values in the columns.
- When I run the data shuttle at the end of the week to replace the outdated information in the target sheet, the "Assigned To" column and other written formulas are wiped out, even though I have designated it as "Not Mapped" and "Merge" within the data shuttle workflow.

I have a lot of formatting and formulas already written in this target sheet, so starting from scratch is a last resort option.

Any help or advice is appreciated!

Hello @shaypatel ! In regards to your questions:

    1. You can change the source, but you will lose the formatting. This is usually a less than 1 minute fix, so while frustrating, at least it is not a terrible thing.
    2. If you have it as not mapped, it should not be wiping anything out. Have you tried recreating the data shuttle?
