Calculate duration basing on resource allocation

I calculated a net duration dividing net hours spent by the % allocation. Problem is that I want to use this net duration for calculating the end date for a given initial date. If I do it in the setting, then the formula for net duration disappears and I cannot input it in the column again

    Hi @Pierangelo Laghi,

This is expected behaviour - when you activate dependencies on a sheet, you can't use formulas in the Start Date, End Date, Duration, % Complete, and Predecessors columns. Take a look here for more information on dependencies: Activate dependencies and use predecessors in sheets.

You could either keep dependencies disabled to use your own formulas in the Duration and End Date columns, or you could add another Duration column and another End Date column to the sheet so that you can use formulas in those columns, as they won’t be the ones used in the project settings.

    Hope that helps!
