Does Power BI see checkbox field as TRUE, FALSE, or blank?

I use the Smartsheet connector in Power BI. I have a "Closed" field in Smartsheet, it's a checkbox. Check it when a record is closed. Then in my Power BI dashboard I have a filter. It shows active records when Closed is FALSE and inactive records when Closed is TRUE.

Well today a user told me that he reactivated a record and it is not showing up as Active in Power BI. In fact it's not showing up as inactivce either.

When I checked the filter setting in Power BI a third value appeared - "(blank)". Is Power BI revealing a third checkbox value that is stored in Smartsheet?
