Automation: Sender issue

I have 3 coordinators working from the same sheet. Their case load is determined by last names, A-L and M-Z for the 2 coordinators and a specific program assigned to the 3rd coordinator. Anyhow, the delimea we are having is that when the automation for assignments go ount on trigger, it appears that it is coming from the sheet's owner. How do we get the email to appear as if it is coming from the person that triggered it? I do understand that any replies would go to the owner of the sheet but we at least need the email recipient know which coordinator sent it on the email. Any guidance is greatly appreciated.

    Hi @jgneely72151

To customize your Smartsheet automation message so that the person being assigned can see who assigned them—and also have an easy way to respond—you can include two placeholder fields in your automated message:

    1. The name of the person who assigned the task (Assigned By)
    2. The email address of the person who assigned the task (Assigned By Email)

In your Smartsheet automation settings (the “Customize message” section of the workflow), add something like the following text:

In the demo sheet below, I set up an update request workflow automation

I customized the message in the automation, as shown in the image below.

Below is an image of the update request email received.
