Is anyone out there having trouble getting new automation workflows to run?

I have a large project management sheet with lots of automation that we have set up for many columns. We currently have 60 automation workflows in the sheet and they are all working fine except for some new ones I added recently. Have I exceeded some kind of limit? I have added about 4 columns to our sheet that need to send an alert to a specific person in a cell when triggered. When I run "test now" it gives me a green check mark saying it run OK but that is the end of the line. Nothing else happens. I have tried deleting the columns and starting over to make sure I have them set up without any kind of conflict.

Thanks from Dennis G.

    Hello @dennis.goudy72296 ,

Back in 2023, I had several Automation Workflows in a singular Smartsheet.

Because of the triggers, Smartsheet would automatically disable my Automation Workflows when >5 were triggered at the same time. I could not find anything in the Learning Center documentation that mentioned the concurrent runtime limitation.

I ended up consolidating my Automation Workflows by expanding on the Conditional Paths.

In Level 2: Intermediate Users, the Topic 4 Automation notes that Automation is not triggered if the trigger column is a cross-sheet reference or cell link. There is a maximum of 150 Automation. Each Automation has a maximum of 20 conditional blocks and 30 action blocks.

Wow! fantastic response. I can see where we might have some conflict going on. I like the idea of consolidating.

    Thanks so much.
