Data Mesh 4004 Error

I'm curious if anyone else has run into this Data Mesh error, and if they understand why it occurs:

I receive this error periodically on multiple configs. It doesn't happen often enough that it has caused any noticeable issues, and I've never seen it happen two times in a row, so this hasn't impacted our users. I want to understand why it happens, though.

Is each Smartsheet user only able to run one Data Mesh config at a time? I have a lot of Data mesh configs set up, so if I add more will I just be exacerbating this problem?

    Hi @Julie Fortney !

The 4004 Error in DataMesh can be caused by multiple factors, and the exact reason isn't always clear just from the error message. In many cases, the complexity of the sheet can lead to timeouts, but without further details, it's difficult to pinpoint the exact cause.

The best way to identify the exact cause is to reach out to Smartsheet Support for troubleshooting. It would be helpful to share screenshots of the error, your full DataMesh config, the Config ID, and the source/target sheet URLs so they can take a closer look.

@Julie Fortney This StackOverflow thread ( https://stackoverflow.com/questions/76657063/smartsheet-api-python-update-columns-4004-error ) seems to encounter the same problem as you. Essentially, the individual scripts were using the same API Token and running concurrently. Do you have a way of combining any of your scripts?

I'm using the Data Mesh premium app, which requires a separate config for each source/target sheet mapping.

I haven't found any documentation stating that a user can't run more than one Data Mesh config concurrently, which could be problematic if you use Data Mesh widely. Many of our solutions use cross sheet formulas and we've only started using Data Mesh in the past year. I want to make sure I fully understand its reliability when promoting it to others in my organization.
