I have a formula that I cannot get right

Hi,

I am taking Justin Orazio's Smartsheet made Simple course. I am in the cross-sheet referencing class. I have watched him create the formula over and over but mine just doesn't work. It doesn't give me an error, but it also doesn't count up the number of sales by the month per project manager. Can someone help me? Below is my formula:

=COUNTIFS({Sales Page Range | Project Manager}, Contact@row, {Sales Page Range |Date of Sale}, >=[Start Date]@row, {Sales Page Range |Date of Sale}, <=[End Date]@row)

Thanks in advance!

Freda

    Your syntax looks to be set up correctly. What is the formula returning, if not an error? Just make sure your range/criteria are properly formatting (ie Jason Tarpinian won't match jason.tarpinian@email.com), and that your start date is earlier than your end date.

    Also double check your ranges are as you expect. Sometimes I've noticed if I select a cross-sheet range (like an entire column) too fast before the sheet properly loads, it will flash and only have the top row selected.

    It is showing all zeroes. When there should have been counts in there.

    I checked the email addresses. They do match. I will go back and make sure it is selecting the entire column.

    Thank you!

    The formula is in the Sales Won column. It is coming back with all zeroes.

    This is the Sales page that the formula is pulling from. So there are definitely some sales for Bob.

    Thank you for your help.

    I set both of the sheets up like Justin had his setup. I am not sure what is happening.

    Ok, now it is showing up! How weird is that? I guess it was delayed in applying the formula.
