I set up an automation to move rows to another sheet when a check mark was applied to a column.

I tested it on one row and it worked perfectly.

Ran the whole thing and it's moved ALL my rows to a new sheet?

Yes I can do a reverse automation but now I've lost my cell history and am concerned also about the data rows being missed?

Is there any way I go can back to a sheet version before the automation ran?

From now on I will have to do 'copy rows' automation to be save and then delete them. Not ideal but I can't risk this happening again.

Thank you - very concerned about this :(

phew - I managed to do a reverse flow and get it back and looks as if it kept the cell history and formulas thank goodness.

I believe as well as adding trigger when 'cell' is checked, you need to add it as a condition too.

but seems I'm missing a row so will need to check what happened.

main panic over and valuable lesson learnt though so thought I'd share.

    Hi @melimob,

So glad you found the resolution, and thank you for sharing it here to help other members!

Yes, when you use "run now" or "test now" to test automations, it will bypass triggers but respect conditions. You can find out more about manually running a workflow here: Manually run a workflow.

Take a look at the activity logs in both sheets to see if you can determine what happened to the row that’s missing.

    Thanks,

    Georgie
