Automation workflows not executing

I have like 8 automation work flows for when a row is changed it will change a cell, sometimes it works, other times it doesn't. The biggest one not working is recording a date. I know its not a delay because its been over a day since the last change and it hasn't updated.

Here are two of the workflows I have, these are only two of the remaining 6, which do the same thing just for different Review Results.

These review result columns populate the sheet from an INDEX MATCH formula from another sheet, is the formula messing up the automation?

hi @santiago.rendon,

the workflows to trigger sheet change like record date, copy row etc will not workout if the changes are triggered in the linkedcells or with formulas that are reading from other sheets (proably the index/match) - smartsheet does not allow that to stop the looping issues.

Do you think this could be your problem?

So I have my main form that is grabbing information from another sheet. Once it grabs that info, I thought that the sheet row "changing" would automate the record a date or update another column. That is not the case? So that might be my problem, is there any work around for this

believe me I was also not very happy when I discovered I cant copy one row from one sheet to another when the data changes inside as it will not trigger the workflow. When I was digging for answer I also discovered that crossfunctions like index/match etc. that are reading from other sheets cant also trigger workflows.

DataMesh saved my solution as it worked properly. I do not know if you have it but this could be your solution.

I can see if I can request access to data mesh through my company, how would that solve my issue though?

datamesh works a bit like index/match it looks for a unique data in one sheet and moves the data from the same row to another sheet.

Like in one sheet you have Unique Name, Address, Age, Footsize … and in the other sheet you have Unique Name and all the other columns will be autofilled.
