Smartsheet Link from Other Smartsheets

Have a smartsheet linked question.
We have a master smartsheet in Workspace 1 and the individual smartsheets (A,B,C,D) represent different depts. The master smartsheet is a high level overview of a project that will be viewable by the client. Our goal is to have certain lines from the individual smartsheets to automatically update the master smartsheet to keep the client updated.
If we were to create a Workspace 2 and just save the master smartsheet and individual smartsheets to from Workspace 1 to Workspace 2 as new (essentially reusing from scratch), will the links be broken? Would we have to do update all the links in the individual smartsheets because the "path" has changed?
I hope I make sense here

@Reggie Andaya If you put the linked sheets into a folder then save the folder as new into Workspace 2, then all links will be maintained within the context of the new folder.
The same holds true if you save the entire workspace as new. Meaning, if all you have in the workspace are those 5 sheets, there's no need for a sub folder.

Hi Darren,
Okay, so the idea is to set up a default workspace with project templates for each new implementation that we have. So if we were to copy the workspace and save as new Project 1 and another Project 2 and so forth the smartsheets within that workspace will still be connected/linked? Sounds like thats what I'm hearing.
Thanks Darren
