Created Date of Row Copied from Another Sheet

New program proposals are submitted via a form and collected on Sheet 1. When approved by a team leader, the row is copied to Sheet 2. I want to capture the date the copied occurred, which I thought was the case with a Created column. However, since I have a Created column in Sheet 1 (say the form was submitted and new row added to Sheet 1 on 2/25), that same date appears to copy over to the Created column in Sheet 2.

Where would I capture the date the row is added to Sheet 2 after being copied from Sheet 1?

you could use an automation to record a date when approved then once that date is entered use that as the trigger to move to the new sheet. Or you could use the same automation to record a date when the row hits the new sheet
