Hi,
Recently a number of links between two sheets that I use have been broken. It is not consistent (not all of the links were broken). Are there guidelines on why links could have gotten broken?

I am not familiar with guidelines, but changes to sheet structure such as a deleted row or moving a row to another sheet can break a link. Take a look at your sheet's activity log if you have access to it.
