How to automatically pull unique values to sheet 1 when sheet 2 is updated?
I have a sheet intended to keep up with project notes, manual entry items that are updated from time to time. I have another sheet I use as a data dump, dropping in an Excel export with relevant items (new projects, date changes etc.)
I'd like be able to dump the data into sheet 2, and push any new projects to sheet 1 so I don't lose all the manual entries by overwriting the data. With date changes and other items I figure I can use formulas to match whatever the new data shows, but not sure how to go about the issue of adding only the new projects.
Hopefully this question is clear enough, but I took a screenshot of what I'm trying to do with the automation tool to hopefully explain it further. Not sure if this can even be done with automation or if there's a better method, but figured at least the visual might help identify the objective.
Any help is appreciated.

hi @walterday,
from how I understand your problem you want to trigger the workflow to copy row from one sheet to another based on the changes that were made in linked cell.
Unfortunatelly it will not work - smarthsee blocked the option to trigger workflows that change sheets like record date, copy row, move row - as some users can make the invinite loops etc.
if you DataMesh it can solve your problem.
