Workapps is the greatest thing I have come across in 20+ years of process and portfolio management. Having users login to Workapps.smartsheet.com is awesome. All of there processes or department are in their own Workapp.

No reason to go to a clunky or over loaded home page, no need for shortcuts to all these different views or dashboards. A nice Workapp is awesome.

Seriously. Who is in charge of Smartsheet making all these decisions. You want to force every users to the worthless workspace view? Where they have to know where to go? There better be a consolidated place to see all your workapps and their respective thumbnail icon.

We do not have users go to their home page EVER. they all are directed to workapps.smartsheet.com

This makes no sense other than to direct people to the home page in hopes that they share something with someone to drive up memberships. Or accidently discover the CREATE button and go build their own assets that arent built correctly.

Seriously. They are acquired by a private equity company. They then force a new user model on everyone to drive up revenue that doesn't have a single control center action or report working for you to monitor said memberships and now are taking the ONE feature that set them apart from Monday, Jiri and suck in Workapps and want to force everyone back to a file manager screen.

None of this makes any sense other than a revenue grab. Workapps is the future. Think of dropping a complete Workapp solution for a company with 12 pre-built Workapps for operations, project management, warehousing, productions, logistics, etc….

Instead Smartsheet is going backwards it seems to roll everything back and just use native assets again like they were 6 years ago. What's the point of all the pomp and circumstance at Engage for Workapps and advanced solutions if they are now just going to roll them all back. And dont get me started on Collections…..LOL

Never seen a SAAS company TAKE AWAY features….
