Count Total Children Rows of 1 Parent Row

I'm trying to create a sheet summary field that will hold a total count of Children under a specific Parent, regardless of the status of the child.

I've tried to use the following, but I get #UNPARSABLE:

=COUNT(CHILDREN([Parent])

I presume I need to somehow callout Key Tasks column, but I'm struggling.

=COUNT(CHILDREN([Key Tasks]5))

Where exactly are you putting this formula?

The Sheet Summary…. panel on the right of the sheet: (New Item, Text/Number)

Try

=COUNT(CHILDREN([Key Tasks]5))
