When Form data is inputted to the sheet, is there a way to input on an existing row?
Every time a form is submitted with data it creates a new row. I would like to populate in an existing row. Is it possible? I looked into automation but could not find a way to do so. Thanks

Hey @fcooke !
I would utilize the update request feature. This will allow you to send out something like a form to make modifications to preexisting rows.
Hope this helps!

Thanks @Aknight for your quick response but the update request doesn't allow me to send the fillable form.

Hi @fcooke !
The update request feature will look like a fillable form from the user's end. You could also use the request updates with workflows that will send an update request via email. When the request is opened, it will look like the photo below to the user (photo credit to @Genevieve P.).
There is currently not a way to adjust the form feature to modify a preexisting row, it will always create a new row upon submission.

Hi @AKnight , I've been trying to simulate this screenshot, but I can't seem to find the request updates with workflow. Would you be able to guide me? all I seem to find is a request an update within an automation but that email does not look like yours. I need something with a user-friendly interface that they jst input in that interface and are not directed to the sheet.

@fcooke your screenshot is how you create an Update Request Automation, @AKnight 's image above is what then end user sees from the Automation successfully running after they receive an email and click "Update Form" from a computer.
This link may be helpful to review as it includes additional information regarding Update Requests.Emily Carlson
