This is a great question! If I could wave a magic wand, I would fix some of the challenges I have experienced with our Google Drives (we are a Google school district) and Data Shuttle. While I absolutely love the features of Data Shuttle, I do feel that it could stand to have some much-needed improvements (especially for offloading data from Smartsheet). I know this is not technically specific to "communication channels," but we do have multiple departments that still prefer to manage some of their processes in Google Shared Drives and that are also using Google Chat and Gmail, and I would love to have continued conversations around potential ways to fix some of these challenges.

I would specifically ask that the project plans we build in the Grid view in Smartsheet look exactly the same in Google Sheets when the plans are exported from SS to Google Sheets (with indentations and formatting ). Is that a possibility at all?

I would love an upgraded WYSIWYG editor for Alert Someone Emails. I think the power of using dynamic entries (i.e., {{field name}}) and Message Only could be enhanced by being able to customize your email body to the next level and improve the recipient's user experience. Putting this in combination with Dynamic View or WorkApps, then guiding users into those views would be great.

Being able to change the look and feel of emails that go out to users would be a game-changer. It would also be awesome if update requests could be more dynamic - in an ideal world, we'd be able to send update requests via email or Teams and the user could update the information within the email or Teams chat.

For us the Slack notifications are key to getting work done. I would love the capacity to connect to my slack instance and see all channels, DM's and the like. The connection to slack seems forced through the app (which it probably is) but I would also love a WYSIWYG editor that would allow me to add custom formatting, and create more engaging reminders and posts with bold, formatting, links, etc.

I've received feedback across our company that we would love for notifications in Microsoft Teams to give as much information as ones received in Slack (particularly with feeding in different cell values of new rows submitted). The MS Teams capability is so limited, I haven't personally bothered with it but would get immense use out of a more robust connection!

I would move using published versions and published sharing management into the standard sharing space. I build a lot of solutions for teams users that will utilize only published dashboards and reports. Managing this published vs. standard access and who has access and what the link was has been burdensome.

what I was always missing was a deeper integration with communication tools like #slack

in my previous company #slack was the main tool for everything…

for example we wanted to integrate our ticketing system built in smartsheet with slack so instead of going to the form on Chrome people wanted to typu: /ticketing_system /date /subject…. and so on… but it did not work.
