Why is the Cell limitation Effecting all other cells?
I was working on a formula to concatenate 24 cells into one cell. Even though my formula only contains 1323 character, less now that I've ride it of spaces(""). My formula "breaks" after (17) iterations. I can't seem to get to the 24 or more should I add more columns. I'm wondering if the sheet is counting all characters in every cell or maybe this is a formula limit. Maybe there's a better way to break up the formula but My sheet is not letting me even break-up the formula by 10's. Any answers or tips here would be helpful.

OMG, I figured out why the formula broke at 17Items. There is no 18th Item. Human error is the culprit on this one. I'll try again and get back to this thread! Soum, you are appreciated for your attention to this.

Can you please state the purpose of concatenating 24 cells into 1?
Seems like Smartsheet can only have 4000 cahrecter in a cell. In case of formula, the limit applies to the output of the formula and not the charecters of formula itself.
If it is to send through email or any other communication, you can include the columns individually in the email body.Regards,

I want to look in a row and find all the Columns with a checked box. There are 24 options (maybe more later on if this works). Then, return a list of the column name separated by a "," In a separate cell same row. Doing this for each row will give me a reminder notification of items per row to procure.
For automation purpose I could set the condition field to look for each checked box and send a notification? How do I avoid such a long condition column 1-24?

Thank you, Soum, for your help!

Seems reasonable. Is the column names of those 24 columns are huge and possibly cross 4000 charecters when combined?
