auto-resend update (or approval) request after 30 days

I have some automations set up where the work is intensive (or people forget) and update (or approval) requests sit for more than 30 days. The notification center wipes these requests out after 30 days and although they sit in email, people seem more likely to completely forget about these completely.

Does anyone know a way that I can auto-resend the full update (or approval) request at the 30 day mark?

I have a date column that can track when the original request was sent out, but I only see automations for notifications rather than resending the full update (or approval) request so that it sits in the request section of the notification center so that it is easier to track rather than having to dig through emails.

Why not create a helping column that based on some data and condition (by using form) would trigger the request for update?

like for example you can send the request for update and and in some date column use the workflow to record date. Then you will have another column that will be the recorded date + 30 … so if the second date is approach the request for update can be sent again.
