Is There A Way To Set A Character Limit?

I am hoping to set a character limit within a SmartSheet form when people use the form for submitting something. Is this possible?

hi @Nicole J ,

i do not think there is. Maximum you can put in one cell in smartsheet is 4k characters but that's it.

you can later use formula to remove too much data from the left and from the right but i do not think it's possible to block putting data in the cell.
