Plan Asset Admin not receiving access requests

Hi Community,

I'm a Plan Asset Admin on an Enterprise account using the legacy collaborator model. I'm trying to better understand how asset ownership and access requests behave, especially when it comes to sheets owned by deactivated users.

Here is what I would like to confirm: If a user attempts to access a deactivated user's asset (and the asset does not have any other active admins), the access request will be sent to the Plan Asset Admin(s).

I've tried testing this by deactivating a user from our plan without reassigning their assets. I then requested access to one other their assets. As a Plan Asset Owner, I would have expected to receive an access request notification but I did not receive one. I have tested that I am getting access request notifications for the assets I own by having a user request access to one of my assets.

Is my understanding of the Plan Asset Admin correct and if so, why am I not receiving access notifications as a Plan Asset Admin?
