Information contained on sheets

Hi, we wish to share individual reports with employees with their outstanding tasks. The information is all in a sheet, the report is displaying blank unless I share the sheet with the employee which I don't want to do as it contains sensitive information regarding other employees. Is there a way around this?

@laurareid There are a couple of ways you could handle this. Share users to the sheet, but create a report with a Current User filter. This will only display items assigned to them. The other way is with Dynamic View, you do not need to share the underlying sheet, and users will only see what you designate.

Thank you, we do not have Dynamic View in our current plan so the other option will be best. I have the filter selected on the report so the employee can only see their tasks but in SHEETS they are able to view the source document which contains financial information that I dont want to be available to them . IS there a work around?

If you have the Enterprise plan, then you could set up a WorkApp that would allow users to see and edit a report without access to the underlying sheet. That or Dynamic View are good options for this.
