"Current User" Report filters applied to report widgets on Dashboards
Usually report filters carry over to reports in a widget on a dashboard. However, the Current User option in report filters does not carry over. This would be very helpful in building dashboards and reports so I only have to build and maintain 1 of each rather than build multiple of each for each manager/area I want it filtered by. Is there a way that this can be built into dashboards so the current user that is viewing the dashboard has all of the report widgets that I embed on the dashboard automatically filtered to that user?

Hi P, please try again. If the report has a condition (filter) set to current user (AND only current user is selected) then this should work ie the person looking at the dashboard should only see their details on the report widget.

This can be done by adjusting the widget's viewer mode

We utilize reports with the current user filter in the reports and then embedded the report into the dashboard as well as change the widget as explained above, to Their own perspective.
