Dashboard - filter by date and sum?

Hello! I am very new to smartsheet - lots to learn! I have a dashboard that has a metrics table at the top which is from a report. The report is a simple table which uses =SUM equations to get the yearly totals. However, I need to update the metrics table to show 24-25 and now 25-26. What is the equation I need in my report to filter by date and =SUM so it will then pull onto the dashboard? Thank you!

hi @Hester you cannot add the "Summarise" data from reports to as charts / metrics to your report you can only add the row data from Reports.

If you wanna have metrics with Summarize data I would recommend creting admin sheet that will collect all this data from different sheets etc.
